I'm looking for a bluetooth GPS receiver. Does anyone have any recommendations on which will work best with the Pearl and are cost effective?

I'm using a cheap unit. I bough it for 65$. Works good with Google and berry map. Sometimes I have an error communicate, but generaly its ok. There is a battery you can replace by yourself (no AAA I will check that). It works for 14 hours without charging. I will find up brand and name when I'll be back home.

As long as you have a data plan then there is no additional charge for using GPS. The GPS revuecre just uses a program like BB maps or google maps to pinpunt your location while you have an active data connection established.

I believe there is only a monthly fee for telenav premium...you should be able to use beyond411 or google maps for free.

I got the OnCourse second edition GPS receiver at BuyGPSnow.com for about $70 a few months ago. It works well is very small and uses the same charger as the Pearl. With a data plan it is a wonderful tool. I don't use it as much as I thought I would at the time I bought it.
