I am on AT&T with the 8310 and have been using google maps for about 2 weeks with no blocking. I just downloaded BB Maps since it was not installed on my phone and played with it for about 30 minutes and did not see any problems.

How will I know if ATT is blocking my applications?

AT&T does not block BBMaps on the 8310 apparently. I have 2 friends at work who both have 10s and neither has any problems

Thanks for the info. Looks like a good app too bad it is not installed by default.

Between this and google maps I think I am in pretty good shape for traveling.

I also purchased the 8310 from AT&T couple days ago and right away downloaded the Blackberry maps and the newest Google Maps. Both applications run well so far without any modifications, no problems at all...

I just picked up an 8310 from att and had to d/l maps but when I try to start a search it just keeps searching for satelites. Is this what you guys mean by att blocking maps or do I have something set up wrong. By the way I have google maps too but that works fine.
