| black berry maps the best gps software yet, and its free
After looking at and trying many map and Navigation apps, I stumbled across a free down load and Decided to try it. and hands down bb maps is by far the greatest app To date that I have used, and now to make room in memory I have deleted all other memory munching map crap from my hand set. So if you have an Internal. Or blue tooth gps this is The one to have. I Have given up on the idea of purchasing A gps device now, and Saved a couple of hundred bucks too Heywood J |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ My phone came with BB maps, but since I'm not using any GPS I opted to use google maps because for me google maps loads and refreshes quite a bit faster. |

Quick question- how did you get the gps to work via Bluetooth? I've paired the gps puck with my 8700g via the berry maps app but I can't anything else to work. Any ideas?? |

I like bbmaps but in my opinion nothing beats voice directions I realtime. Telanav offers this. I've used it on many trips. I it let know when Ihave taken a wrong turn despite the ovious directions. Then rerouted me. This helped me while going thru houston which I am not familiar with. And it finds gas by price nice. And always helps me find the local starbucks. Really nice. It is worth the 9.99 a month it costs. But I do like bbmaps n google maps I just like looking @ maps. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~if you have a older phone like my 7105t bbmaps is worthless. Pretty much a rip off of google maps.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I thought utilizing BB Maps and GPS required 4.2 handheld code. I have tried it with 4.1 on 8703, but haven't gotten the GPS part to work. Google Maps is great. Traffic is helpful, as well as being able to look up Starbucks, etc. |
