Quick question- how did you get the gps to work via Bluetooth?

I've paired the gps puck with my 8700g via the berry maps app but I can't anything else to work.

    Any ideas??
In the menu in the app there is an option to "Start GPS". Assuming your GPS unit has a signal lock the map should center on your current location. I just got my puck as well and was using it tonight.

The GPS mode is fairly good, but the directions don't update as you move. Let's say you miss a turn off, car nav's recalc a route. BBMap doesn't. There also needs to be some kind of signal strength mode in the program to read how the GPS puck is locking onto the sattelites. The directions themselves are also static. It doesn't prompt you even visually with "exit coming up" or the like.

It's a decent bust simple map app (google is better) but the GPS connection is a nice twist. I'm sure it will get better, and I look forward to the improvements. BTW, running it on Rogers OS 4.1 on an 8700r.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~wow this thread is still going. a late development I have recently upgraded to a sprint 8703e and I have to install via desk top. and
The pointer does move with you but the exits show up as you pass at 80 mph, but as a delivery person it has saved a lot of time and voice directions are nice but not worth the fee .I have a tip on a developer working on the problem of mobile g maps and the internal gps System that may alow users to use google maps in. Real time like bbmaps this was the only reason
That gm didn't do it for me but soon I hope as the features of gmaps would be great if it tracked in real time
I will post as soon as something is available
