| Arrgg GPS.. Help
I've recently discovered the GPS function on my BB 8800 and after playing around with it discovered that for the life of me I could not get a location. I've read through the posts on this forum and searched google. I've tried refreshing outside but it still tells me it can't get a signal. This happens both when i refresh in BB Maps and when i refresh satellites in the GPS menu in Options. Any ideas out there? I'm currently living in Hong Kong and there isn't a lot of BB support for this region. |

I know I've read that it takes up to 20 minutes to get a signal on the first try. Maybe leave it by a window for awhile...

BB maps is quirky but you should be able to get a lock under Options->Advanced Options->GPS as long as there aren't any problems with your 8800. Just make sure you're outside. Also try a battery pull to reset. |
