If you're using the Wifi browser you should be fine. Data transfer has nothing to do with your minutes. There shouldn't be any charges to using data over Wifi.

How come I don't see "wifi browser" option. Currenlty, mine is set to "Hotspot Browser". IS that ok?? Will I get charged?

I think it changed from Wi-Fi browser to Hotspot browser with OS 4.5.

I've got mine set to Internet Browser and it works fine on Wi-Fi at home.
