Hey guys, I just got an 8320 and it is great. I'm only having one problem with my wifi. It will not connect to my home router. I keep getting a no connection error. The wifi works on the router at my apartment at school and also on the schools router. Could it by my home router? Any info. would be great. Thanks.

    Hi there and welcome
Sounds like it could be...is it an older router?
    What brand?
Does it see the router but simply refuse to connect?
    Any error message?
Any 2.4 ghz phones on the home?

There is a certain Linksys router that many people have problems with. Especially when encrypted.

If you could, please tell us the brand and model of the router, the settings on the router, if there's any encryption or not, and the way you tried to set it up on your phone.

It is an older router...5 or 6 years maybe. It's a d link DI 614+. It does see the router but refuses to connect even when I'm standing right next to it. The only error I get is one that says unable to connect to network. I don't know if the router has to be wifi enabled or not. If it does that might be my problem because the router is pretty old.

    DI 614+ is 802.11b operating at 22mbps.

That is most likely your issue. I suggest you invest the $50 in the TMO branded router if you plan to use UMA at your home.

Speak to the IT department. As I understand it is not uncommon for a school campus to actually use an encryption that requires a download on your computer to allow you on their system. If that is the case you probably will not have succcess with your 8320.

Gary's right. My gf had to install some sort of thing to use the ethernet cable at her dorm.
