    Wifi & Rogers?

I am just wondering if the ATT 8820 can work on the Rogers network? I kind of confused on how Wifi with the BB works exactly. I would like to use the wifi service to DL larger attachments on my email. I have a full BB data plan but would like to use the Wifi to lessen the load on my data plan. As Rogers is still legally allowed to charge through the roof for data, and not offer a unlimited plan.

    Re: Wifi & Rogers?

I can confirm that the 8820 works on the Rogers network; have no idea when Rogers will actually be selling the unit. And I am using my home WiFi network to access my data when at home; have also tried it out on a couple of friend's home WiFi and at a Starbucks using Cdn Hotspot network. The UMA concept seems to work as advertised.
