I know this is off topic, but i was recently in a thread about wifi in a blackberry. I personally can understand why people would want this, honestly though and the reason i am posting this is, is not to down play blackberry, i love mine. this is simply an alternative for wifi. It is small, portable and obviously is way more capable.

Wifi in the bb 7520 is actually very useful. A lot of bb users lose cell coverage in buildings and the wifi capability fills the gap. These devices can also be used for VOIP applications which is great fro those working in buildings or underground. I work for the hospitality industry and the wifi capable devices are very popular with engineers and other personel that work "behind the scenes" in hotels.

Major department stores have those kinds of phones they give out thier employees. Like Lowes, home depot, etc etc

even though it may be bigger than a blackberry, most people don't stick the blackberry in there pocket in how.

Oh yeah incidentally, the 7270 is 802.11b only and i gotta say that most places have 802.11 g which i know they are compatible but what happens when you try to connect to a 802.11n
