    Uncaught exception

    So..

I installed the new theme scribble, but before that I could use my browser all the time.
I switched form wifi browser to the "normal" browser so I could browse when I wasnt at home.

But then when I got home today I switched to wifi browser and suddenly I got that message.

"Uncaught exception: invisible node cannot be made current"

    Anyone who's got a clue?
BTW, I'm on mac so I cant really do a backup and clean the phone. Would there be another way to handle this?

    Many thanks

My phone even asked me to reset now.
    Just had a "Code error"
    Reset now.

I could only press reset :-/
What's going on with my phone?

No...this is software related most likely. Can we get a better description of your current situation? Is your device operating?

Yes it's still working, but everytime I try to open my browser now I get these error messages.
I belive it would be the browser that's got some error now. Dont really know how this happened, but let me try to explain it abit more.

I was installing our router (wireless) and was trying to see if it was working, so I opened my browser and quickly changed from vodafone to wifi, and then I tried again and that's when I got the error message. Then I tried changing back to the previous setting (that was vodafone) but I got the same error message again.

I have to press "ok" in the error window abut 10-15 times before it goes away which is quite annoying :-)
And now I'm stuck with this problem, how will I be able to live on the edge now when I cant drive and read news at the same time!!? ;-)

Sounds like a corrupted file. I had an experience which was very similar to this. Re installing the OS took care of it. Not only that, once done, I had more remaining memory than before. A win/win scenario.

Simply do a search here about re installing the OS, if you have not done it before.

Now this is a very SERIOUS problem....hmmm... OH... I know how to solve this one. It's a two step solution:
    1) Buy a newspaper
    2) Drive as fast as the car will go with the newspaper in front of you blocking your view of the road......

    Re: Uncaught exception

There is nothing to worry, I'd seen this situation couple of times, this is due to an application error.
Just pull out battery & start phone once without SIM card, let it verify security software and let the phone get on for 5 mins.
After 5mins, switch off BB & insert SIM card & its ready to use again.

If the problem persist take a back-up of your data to PC & wipe handset, and re-install service book.

    Nothing more to do.

Reason for problem is little error in application or being careless(just switch to other application w/o closing the ex-one)

    Cheers Dude
