There's got to be something set wrong - I'm doing EXACTLY what you're trying to do on my 8120, a T-Mobile "to-go" plan. Did you answer Garyf's question above - can you access ANY internet site? Sorry - I see that you did.

I'm stumped - I'll keep thinking it over to see if I can come up with something.

Ok - lets roll our sleeves up....

Do you have UMA or uma?
What kind of router are you connected to?
Do you have a green check mark next to WiFi in your manage connections screen?

    This is from the BTSC

To configure direct web browsing on a Wi-Fi® enabled BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:
    1. Connect to a personal Wi-Fi network or a hotspot. See KB13365 for more information on scanning for available Wi-Fi networks or KB13363 for more information on manually adding Wi-Fi networks.
Note: In the VPN Selection page of the Set Up Wi-Fi Wizard, click No. A virtual private network (VPN) connection will prevent direct web browsing.
    2. Once connected to the personal Wi-Fi network or hotspot, open the BlackBerry® Browser.
For BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry® Device Software 4.2.2, complete the following steps:
    1. In the Browser menu, click Go To.
    2. Select Change Browser.
    3. Select Wi-Fi Browser.
    4. In the Go To field, type the web site address.
    5. Click the trackball to view the web page using direct web browsing.
For BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry Device Software 4.3:
    1. In the Browser menu, click Options.
    2. Select Browser Configuration.
    3. Change the Browser to Hotspot Browser.
    4. Click the Menu key and select Save Options.
    5. Click the ESC key to go back to the Browser and type the web site address.

Note: A BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 will have a Wi-Fi Browser. A BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry Device Software 4.3 will have a Hotspot Browser.

...probably not out of nowhere, oc, but glad it started working anyway. Enjoy browsing the internet via wi-fi.
