Connecting to my employers Wi-Fi network...

I work at a hospital, and they have Wifi for the patients and patient families while they are here.
Now my question is am I able to connect to it on my Curve? I do not have H@H, WiFi thru TMO as of yet. Am I able to connect to it? I search for it and my Curve finds it (we are using
PHH-Internet) and it saves it as a connection. If you think I can connect to it and use, I would like to try it. If you think I can do it, give me some directions and I will try em
    Thanks for your input

Once you have found the network, you should be able to connect. Use your wifi connection wizard and it should allow you to walk through the set up. When you find the network, press in on your trackball and that should start the process. Just follow the prompts. if you don't have the TMO service, you'll be charged per minute for calls, but as long as you're using their wifi for internet, you should be fine cause you're not using TMO's edge connection.

yes, u can connect to it, use it for data (if u have the data add-on) and make calls on it. the only thing the HS@H service does, is when u make calls on wifi, they dont count twards ur bucket of minutes. since u dont have that service, when u make calls on the wifi, they just count twards ur normal minutes.

I'm connected to our PHH Internet!

So on my lunch break I was playing around on my Curve. At one point I had SOS showing instead of EDGE and was still surfing the net

What does this little "Key" icon mean?

I have seen it on other WiFi connections when I scan for connections.
Does it mean I need a Key to connect to it, and where do I get this said "Key"
    Thanks

the key means it is a secured network. you will need the wireless WEP or WPA key... which you would have to get from the administrator of the network.
