I recently heard some rumours and saw a bunch of pics of wifi enabled balckberry 8800's. and i was wondering is this was true. i know its not possible with cingular but i am not with them any way..
does anyone have any clue

The 8800 will not have WiFi. The 8820 will (xx20 denotes WiFi). It's entirely posible on at&t as they are releasing the 8820. I'm not sure why you're saying it's "not possible with Cingular"...

Is there any possibility that wifi will be included in future OS upgrades for the 8800?

Wi-fi is a hardware upgrade. The existing 8800 doesn't have the chipset or antenna for wi-fi transmission.
