after many hours of searching why we couldnt get UMA while on 4.5.0.37 i did an extended research online as well as on other forums... this is what i found out..

in order to get UMA we need to do the following...

go in to options> security options>certificates ..delete the 2 tmobile usa inc listings

it will ask for a password

    then...

    options> advanced options> delete the 2 wifi tcp/ip listings

after those are deleted,do a battery pull ...

the certificates and the service books will automatically come back and you will notice the UMA on the top right corner...

again i got this from another forum, but i just wanted to let my fellow stackers know there is a solution to it!

We did this time after time. It didnt work. You got a fluke. We all gave up and went to the newer version.

That method may work, but I noticed I did not get UMA on .37, .44, or .46. The way I found to enable it where it would stay, is to change your preferred network from Mobile Network Preferred to Wi-Fi Preferred. Worked everytime for me on all 3 versions.
