hi, welcome to pinstack
if you are trying to post the desktop download, you will need to export to alx giving that export its own folder. once the export is complete, zip up the alx and cod file (created when you exported) and attach it to your post.
if you are trying to post the jad link (ota wireless download) then you will need to export the theme to jad format, and host the files created (one jad and several cod files) on a compatible web server. you can't only attach the jad "file"
Thanks so much!! I kinda feel silly because I really have no idea what I'm doing and this is all trial and error for me. Just really like my BB and want other options for themes.
You should also post some pics of your theme. Check this thread out on how to upload and post pics inside your thread. Link
Sweet! Can't wait to see it!

Ok. So I'm clearly retarded because now I can't even find my saved file. I think I erased it some how. So back to square one. I'll be posting it as soon as I get it finished!!
Ok, I've all of the following:
1. I install the theme builder from Plazmic
2. I made a theme and saved it as a .thm file so i could work on it
3. When i was satisfied, I exported the file as a .jad
4. I then put the 1 .jad file and the 14 .cod files (ha i know a lot shhh) into one unzipped folder.
5. I then used notepad to make a ".htaccess" file with the text
AddType text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jad
AddType application/java-archive jar
AddType application/vnd.rim.cod cod
6. I then registered for the german website, thank goodness for german translator! I activated the .ftp and draged my file with with .cod, .jad, and .htaccess files into the ftp site in windows explorer.
7. It transfered fine
As well as followed these instructions from another thread:

You don't 'find' the ota link, you have to write it.here's mine
Is the address at the top of your screen
Is the folder name I used
Is the name of the jad file
Have you done that but obviously used your folder name etc? Put all of that together and its OTA for a theme.

And it still won't upload. The error message says it's an invalid URL. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would really like to put up this theme.
hang on bluelucky7-will try to get you some help!
Sorry bro maybe tommorrow, all are asleep!
I don't see any link for this theme here
