Oh absolutely YES! You make sure JAD files in folder "Theme" include the COD files, also. If you downloaded jad files without the cod files from the card to d-memory, it will not work.

There is a small program called OTALoader floating around out there somewhere. I have it and for alot of the OTA downloads, you put the address of the JAD file in and it grabs all of the CODs as well. Doessn't always work, esp if the link is generated via scripting. But direct links work fine. It's nice being able to keep a backup of your OTA's sitting on your media card.

So, if I did not create the theme, and downloaded the JAD file to my PC, how do I get it on my 83xx?

Copy the folder to your media card. Go to Media and click the Blackberry button. Select Explore. Browse to your theme folder and select the .jad file. It should then act as though it was downloading and installing your theme.

How do I download the .COD files if I'm provided with just the .JAD files?
