Been thinking about it, too, Gary. Anxious to hear more opinions, although they do suggest you don't run it on your primary work/home laptop/PC, which is what I'd be doing.

I really like it. For me, major improvement over vista and no issues at all with DM 4.7 or utorrent. So far so good on my older D600 Latitude laptop.

Much better than Vista. But, can't use it much because had to load it on to a tertiary use PC. Nevertheless, having tried the beta also, find this one much faster

I like it.... been using RC for a little while and haven't had problems with it. I thought I was having problems but turned out it was my HD. Put a new one in and its running quick and smooth !!

Have not tried DM or anything else from BB, but I am sure it would work just fine. Its vista with a facelift basically : )

I did it last week and really like it on my desktop. As soon as I bump the memory up in my laptop I plan to have it there also.

I installed it on my laptop the other week, whenever it was released. Still running it but not very fond of it anymore. Microsoft has really pushed me away from their products. They have ruined Windows, which I have never really cared too much for it in the first place but 7 and vista but are horrible. 16gb for 32bit and 20gb for 64bit. What is up with that? This is just my own opinion though I know a lot of people love Microsoft products, I'm just not one of them...

Now with the XP Mode, I am running it on my primary laptop and desktop that I use at work. I can (finally) run AD Users and Computers with Exchange 2003 components on my Win 7 PC's. I have all of our applications we use for business running and most devices work out of the box or will allow you to install Vista drivers. I have a 3GB Latitude D630 laptop and a Optiplex 740 desktop with 4GB of RAM and both run fine. I have some occasional strange video issues with my docking station but stand alone has never been a problem. I have been running W7 on my laptop since the beta came out as my primary work computer. I like it much better than Vista. With the taskbar I pin the applications I use all of the time to it and open everything with one click. A very good product. I also think that it runs faster than both Vista and XP. I know network copies of large files are faster. I have been running DM4.7 and it runs fine too.

Anyone else a Microsoft Action Pack Subscriber and if so, do you know if we'll get this OS as part of the subscription once it's released? I know I got licenses for Vista as a subscriber and am assuming it will be the same for 7.

I'm planning on downloading the RC over the weekend. How about you, Gary?
