Pearl Software is going to be used for beer coaster!!

Hey guys I really need some assistance on a problem that I am having with my blackberry pearl 8100 software that came with my phone. Vista is my OS and when I try to install the prog I get an error after a few screens. can anyone help please? thank you! Sorry i posted this thread in the wrong section before.

Im getting my error right before it installs. Internal error 2738 is what im getting.

And you said you're installing Vista???
and how are you doing so, via Desktop Manager??

okay.....try this

Download desktop manager version 4.3....then reboot your PC, and re-try

Some of the disks that came with newer Pearls (I know this applies to just the T-Mo and AT&T Pearls, don't know about the Verizon and Sprint Pearls) have problems. Try the OS or Pearl section for the latest OS.

i think ive tried all the versions except for 4.3 maybe its the one.

hey sorry if anybody can help me ... im having problems rebooting/restarting my phone everytime i connect it to computer via usb it just connects and disconnects in a matter of seconds.. my screen stays black and the led flashes red. I've tryed application loader but after selecting witch aps i wanted(basic aps already on list) but after it loads JVM and system software the next step my bb just connects and disconnects again and stops the progress of the app loader! HELP ME PLEASE!
