Desktop manager 4.3 crashes during synch.

Help...We have a user who is running desktop manager 4.3 on windows xp sp2, outlook 2003 and has been able to sync their outlook contacts,calendar etc to their BB without any problems. Now when they try to sync they get an error before it completes.

The error shown in event viewer on pc is Faulting application Desktop Mgr.exe version 4.3.0.15, faulting module MsOutlookConnector.fil, version 7.1.1.181, fault address 0x0003835d.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

try to reconfigure the sync, tell the blackberry desktop mgr to sync with something else. once you set this close the desktop mgr then open it agian and reconfigure for outlook. i don't know how well this will work but if it doesn't uninstall the DM and reinstall

Have you looked in the log?

On my PC, it's called: C:\Documents and Settings\[YourName]\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync\PtTrace.log

Look for obvious error, like a bad record or something like that.

It's fixed... I renamed the intellisync folder then ran Desktop manager again with the BB connected and synched without any problems. Found the fix on another post. Thanks for the help.
