I have a pearl, use mobilink (the only carrier who has blackberry service in Pakistan). I am using BES through microsoft exchange, was wondering any1 else here from Pakistan?

yeah me....but I'm using the 8700. I wasn't aware the pearl is available here. How much was it? Do you find it better than the 8700, if u happened to compare them?

Its for 24000, yeah I used the 8700 the pearl is better for my use as its smaller. 8700 is too thick in my opinion. But I really like the 8800 its for 29000, which firm you in?

Hi, I am Nawaz and i am using Pearl as well, i am on telenor SIM and they don't provide the GRPS on this set, When i asked Mobilink about if they will provide the BES or BIS plan if i switch they answered me as below.

""Dear Sir,
With reference to your e-mail; please be informed that the BlackBerry services are provided only against the handsets which are being purchased from our end, at the subscription of the said services. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we are unable to process the below mentioned request.""

I wonder how you are using BB services on pearl in pakistan please let me know.

I'm also a blackberry user in Lahore. I started with the 7290 and just purchased the 8800 a few weeks ago for 29,000. It is a beautiful handset but now they have the curve. If I can sell my 8800 for a decent price, I might upgrade to the curve.
