Web Browser of BB 8700c is not supported by our local network?
I tried the Opera Mini, still not working.
Anyone could help configuring the network setup?

Are we sure that this smart phone is supported by our local network?
Anybody here could convince me before I buy the unlock code via imei of JT-Unlock?
Hey RB3tech, ask first your friend to have the 8700c unlock to Cingular carrier. Yes, Blackberry devices that were bought outside Philippines are supported by our local carrier which is Globe and Smart but like I said they need to be unlocked first. Also you may want to ask first our local carrier, Globe and Smart, if they do have policy with Blackberry that were bought outside and need to be provisioned locally. But i can assure you that our carrier can support the device from outside. Been working with Smart as BB tech support before and that's why I have idea on this.

Bangus, Yahoo Messenger is not free with either Smart or Globe. They will still charge you in your monthly bill as part of data charge (You will just see the total kilobytes you have used in your bill) but its quite cheap. 1KB is equivalent of 1000 character, so you have to accumulate first the 1000 characs before they charge you with .15 centavos (depending on the contract).

RB3tech, I dont think its our local carrier. Is you device already unlocked? Is your device already provisioned with our local carrier? If yes, do you have the complete Service Book provided by the local carrier? Try performing the register now.
