| tmob uk 8700g modem tethering to pc
Hello from edinburgh. Just wondering if anyone here in the uk has managed to use their 8700 as a modem on a pc running xp sp2? I've been trying for most of saturday and have only managed to connect, send a few hundred bytes and receive no data at all. I tried calling tmob directly but they wanted to contact me via another number as the bb is obviously tethered to the pc. I had no other phone at the time to use. Anyone try this before? The only information found here for tmob is for usa users. And that doesn't work. As for costs rep says as long as web n walk option is taken you can tether the bb. I already have the max 1gig option and took up the option for 3gig for an additional £5. Suggestions and comments please.  |
