i just got my bb pearl last week, and so far.. i have not let it out of my site for more than 15 mins (and that's for showering time)... I've noticed lots of people here.. if not all.. are addicts.. I'm glad I've found my community =)

i was wondering.. is it true that a blackberry can get viruses.. and if it is.. does anyone know any precautions to take to avoid a virus..

always watch where your downloading third party programs from make sure its a repuatable source and whatch what time of email you send to your device because it could contain viruses in attachments and what not but other than that enjoy your device make sure you check out the BB Pin Messaging forum too - Welcome
