hi all i am just starting with a blackberry 8700 so all helpful tips are greatly appr. currently i have ony phone service will be going full service soon
can i start with a quick question... my friends BB is loaded with add ons, is there a way to transfer them to mine? maybe with a sync?

Hi Welcome to the stacks...

When you do a synch, you just sync memopad, contacts, tasks...

You have to get the JAD files (ota download installation) or ALX/COD files (Desktop manager Installation) of the programs you want to install.

What BB does your friend have? You could do a backup of their BB, then restore it to your BB.

Sometimes its easier just to download all the same things to your BB. Let us know if you need any further help.
