Well I was playing around with the curve, did a reset, and now the little wrench icon for Preferences is gone. I went into the menu and clicked Show All to make sure I didnt accidently hide it, and its just gone >.< any ideas?

Nope havent changed theme, and i cant because I cant get to the preferences icons. No applications or settings either >.< It was there, I re did my Myfaves icons, and changed my wallpaper, installed opera mini and gmail, rebooted, then the preferences icon is missing. Maybe I should try installing the newer .184 OS and see if it fixes it?

hold ALT + click wheel. make sure show all is checked. If its not there you might need to reinstall.

try the above using default theme.

I am using the Zen theme which was default, and I cant change the theme because I dont have the options icon. Waiting for the .184 OS to finish downloading, then Ill install it.

No I dont have any folder icons, its a new phone I really havent done much with it yet, tried installing the new OS to my pc and I got a initialization error, this is my punishment for buying a new phone >.<

Vare do this.

Go to "call Log" - select Options then General Options - disable "Dial from home screen button" save and exit.

on main screen hit "O" on your keyboard

it should open options

not sure really. you can delete the tmobile service books and resend see if that fixes it.

dyep its best you do. By the way disabling dial function is useful if you want to use shortcuts.

Thanks, I did install two themes from this website with the app loader, but I havent used either one, dont know if that could contribute to my problem. FF7 Theme and a spiderman 3 theme, just incase how do I uninstall them, right through the app loader? Neither has a delete option on them. actually in the middle of posting I accidently clicked the Spiderman 3 theme, and went to the home screen, and the options icon was there. Went back to the Tmo Zen theme, and its gone again, seems like a problem with the tmo theme, def gonna do a reinstall.

to uninstall, simply UNCHECK the box next to the theme in application loader.

ya, this is a new one for me, as i have never seen this happen with a default ZEN theme...normally someone says 'my options' disappeared and its bc they changed to a theme that puts settings menus in a folder
