 Blackberry 83xx Curve OS v4.2 Software Links (by Carrier) [as of 11JAN08] The following is a list of Handheld OS's by Service Provider for the Blackberry 8300, 8310 and 8320 Curve worldwide. The newest Handheld OS is listed for each service provider that carries the Blackberry 83xx (as of 11JAN08). Note that while most are multilanguage, some are just Chinese. I have not personally checked, but have been told that the Chinese OS's also have English. Many providers use the same OS as other carriers so there are repeats on the list, but this will be a good reference to check for updates as well. Each lists the Carrier, Package Version, Application Version, Software Platform and Size. Follow the link and in the "Please Select a Product" dropbox, find "Blackberry Curve 83xx (TM)" (in most cases). You do not need a Username and Password to get to the OS downloads from their sites - just click "Free Download Area" on the left. Click "Devices" folder, then "RIM Devices" folder, then "8300" folder. You will find the OS download on the next page. Although there's a lot of versions, but most of them are of the same applications and platforms which essentially makes them the same OS. Yes they have been tried by TMO users.....mostly by Flash24. He is always willing to take the plunge for us Tmo users....lol
