8100 or the 8300? your choice?

Today everyone is talking about the phone unofficially dubbed the "8300" a.k.a Daytona. It is said to be coming with Wifi, 2.0mp cam with an LED flash (no talk yet of vid record), GPS and a full qwerty keyboard.

My question is, from what is being shown (and an estimated time of release to be this summer), would you upgrade from your 8100?

Yes/No and then why please.

I'll start.

Yes/No: huge yes.

Why: I have gotten used to suretype, but I have always prefered full qwerty. The addition of full qwerty and a better cam is enough reason for me to trade up. the Wifi, GPS and larger screen are all just pleasant bonuses.

I am pretty sure that it won't be called the 8300, maybe it is the 8830. (cause it has the 8800 series of phone on it) I think it was an error.

NO! I will not spend another $250 on a new phone every three months just to keep up with everybody else! Maybe I will upgrade when my contract is up!

That would be a no for me as well. I really enjoy the pearl. And the camera resolution really matter to me

I'll wait until my contract expires. Till then I'll stick with my trusty 7130c, which I love. I've never had a BB with a full keyboard, so I'm not missing anything.

I'll stick with the pearl. Although I think my fiancee might enjoy the full keyboard.

you are the first bb owner I've seen talk about switching over to iPhone. everyone I know is unwilling to give up having 3rd party apps. will you have two phones or do you plan to just have the iPhone?

Daytona is just a version of 8800. From the very beginnning it was known that 8800 will be produced in a few different hardware versions. This is one of them.

I'm not going to give up my Pearl for a while. It took me a long time to find the perfect device I was looking for and, now that I have it, I'm going to enjoy it.

wi fi would be nice but I honostly don't use my camera too much. I have a nice digital slr for photos. I don't need a camera in the phone. Just my opinion though. I like my pearl and will probably stay with it for awhile.
