guessing he didn't know his product, unfortunate but it happens. you should go back and make him show you how or the next guy will get stung too. just a suggestion.

I was looking at the Jabra BT620s and emailed them to see if they knew if the Pearl was compatible. It is not, and below is their explanation as an fyi:

    .......
The BT620s is compatible with Bluetooth phones for basic voice call functions. However, to play music files in stereo through a Bluetooth Stereo headset, your phone would require the following Bluetooth Stereo profiles:

    A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)
AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile)

The Bluetooth Stereo profiles are not the same as either basic Bluetooth technology for voice calls or basic stereo enabled cell phones. At this time, there are very few Bluetooth cell phones that offer these Bluetooth Stereo profiles. The Blackberry Pear 8100 does not have the Bluetooth stereo profiles.

Please verify with your cell phone manufacturer that your phone supports these profiles.
    ........

Needless to say, I was dissapointed, as they would have been pretty neat.

    /g

Man, now I have to go back to the stupid headphones that they gave me with the phone. Does anyone know of any other headphones that work well with the Pearl?

Maybe he was saying that the Blackjack could do that? I just remember him saying that he listens to music through his Bluetooth.

    Right.

Stick with the iPod. Oh, wait, you can't use Bluetooth with that either.
