Yes but the original question was can you play Music through a mono Bluetooth Headset, the answer is NO. In order for a phone/device to play music through a bluetooth headset you must have a phone/device with A2DP technology and a stereo headset with A2DP technology. What is A2DP technology? A2DP technology is a music revolution that lets one listen to music without the hassle of wires via bluetooth. example the Jabra BT 620s is a stereo Bluetooth Headset with A2DP. A2DP compatible phones and PDA’s (Updated November, 2006) Dopod 838Pro Eten M600 HP iPAQ 2190 2400 2490 2790 4700 6515 6828 6965 I-mate JasJam Smartflip LG KU800 KU830 TU500 U890 U300 U400 Motorola E1070 E770 K1 Q ROKR E2 V1075 V3x V3xx V6 maxx Z3 Nokia 5300 6288 7390 8800 (version 3.60 and above) N95 O2 Atom Atom Pure Atom Exec Samsung A701 D600 D820 D520 D820 E770 P300 P300 Z400 Z500 Z510 Sony Ericsson K610i K800i M600i P990 V630i W710i W850i W950i Z610i |

I have 3 phones that are not A2DP enabled and the mp3's play fine through any BT headset. The key is to set the mp3 to mono & 8,000 hz. I have tried this on the 8703e and cant for the life of me get it to work. The whole point of A2DP is so any mp3 will play through BT, not just the ones at mono setting. |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I use a wired stereo headset that I got from verizon to listen to mp3's on my pearl. It works pretty well if you don't mind being wired. |

You can change those settings by using a Audio editor, do a google search for "audacity".

so whats the story, can you have stereo bluetooth on your pearl i know that if you were lsitening to music on your pearl and someone calls you and you answer it the music sometimes will kick in ad play, and once you hang up form the call it will stop playing through the headset. I know on my motorola v360 i converted my music files to .3gp format. the quality was crappy but it played through my headset. anyone...
