    Make me a supermodel

Hey, I keep getting a popup on my phone with a bluetooth icon that says please enter passkey for make me a supermodel. It has popped up about 4 times so far. I noticed it happening in the Westchester Mall (for anyone that lives in Westchester and maybe has the same experience). Anyway, I have no idea what this means. Does anyone have any insight as to why this is happening or what this means? Thanks for any help or advice.

Sounds like someone is trying to get you to open your bluetooth on your phone. I wouldn't do it. I think it's called bluejacking.

wow that does sound stange. what seems strange to me is this is normally the message that you get when you are connect to another bluetooth device from your BB.

either way, i would not do it.

even if he did want to connect to this "make me a supermodel"...he wouldnt know the password unless the person or computer trying to connect to his phone gave it to him.

make sure your firewall is turned on dude.

If you aren't using your bluetooth disabling it would save battery. If you are then you could set it not to look for new devices. May help. Good luck.

There are kids in the mall bluejacking people. Next time it happens, look around for a group of kids who look suspicious, nervous, or are laughing. There are your culprits.

Haha! Or get a fake badge and pull it out as you start walking towards them. Watch them scatter!
