Question Jawbone 2 Noise Assasin Volume issues

does anyone who owns a jawbone 2 Noise Assasin bluetooth headset have any problems regarding its volume being too low? i find the volume too low and i cant hear the other end of the line.. good thing they can hear me because of the noise cancellation technology... but i cant hear them and i had to tell them to speak louder...

i only had it for less than a week and wondering if thats normal or i got a defective headset... btw, got the unit from the att store...

    thanks!

Not sure about the newer Jawbones, but the old ones you could turn the volume up by pressing the button.

Is it different with the new ones?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~there is a volume button w/c doubles as the noise assasin button... but even at maximum, still too low.. I could barely hear the person I'm talking to when I'm driving...

So there's just one button? Mine old school has 2. One for the noise shield and the other for the volume.

i was searching online about reviews on the jawbone... volume wise.. nobody reported that issue.... but when i searched about jawbone volume issues.. i came across this post from another user.....

i guess he sent an email to aliph and their response was...
    **********
As information, Aliph is very concerned with NIHL (Noise induced hearing loss). Several companies including Apple and Motorola are being sued for the amount of high volume levels that come through their earpieces. In response to these NIHL concerns, we actually decreased the incoming volume level on Jawbone.

    Thank you,

    The Aliph Support Team[/B]
    **taken from RIY....

i guess that will be good information to share...

well, you can always buy an older model it's a tiny bit bigger, not sure what other differences there are between them though.

The Jawbone also self adjusts the volume based on the surrounding noise. It's in the manual.

I have the opposite problem! My Jawbone 2 is almost too loud - even at the lowest volume setting.
