I have the Pure and Jawbone... I was trying to listen to music through the pure and it didn't work. Is there a possible way to get this to work?

I also went to activate headset in the media player...

T-mobile shops have the Motorola S9 Stereo headphone on sale in-store for $80.00

    It works on my 8830.

The pure and jawbone are both mono hs and not designed for streaming music. There have been reports of people using 3rd party applications and streaming audio over mono bt.

As long as the description says "Stereo BT", we could use it for listening to music and talking to people (not at the same time of course)?

The BT Moto S9 will work. The mono BT headsets will not, in most cases. They do not use the A2DP protocol.

There was a hack for the 8300 that allowed music through the mono bt headset. I used to use it for my plantronics mono device. It involved some changing of the OS files. The thread may be around here somewhere, but all the info was probably deleted since it involved a hack. Plus some mono bt headsets don't have great speakers at all so the audio quality wasn't that good.
