I tried the Plantronics headset. Its a good idea, nice size, but still not a great application. The sound was extremly tinny, no low tones, and had a rattle/static in the background. I tried two sets from verizon to be sure it was not a defective set.
I also found with the ear pieces inseted they do block out sound from the outside well. Only issue was they fit so well you can hear yourself breath, swallow, chew, over the music, not a great feeling/sound. I think Plantronics is on the right path because this set makes you look the least geeky of all the ones I have tried that are completly wireless, but its still not up to the quality it should be to listen to MP3s. If you can deal with the lower quality these are great, I plan on waiting until they get it a little more perfected. This technology is growing so fast it wont be long until someone gets it right!

i have looked for years for the right, high quality bluetooth stereo bud set.i even got the jabra dogtag set where you can plug in your earphones into the unit that hangs around your neck. i finally realized how ridicules that was. it still had wires and with an additional foot of wire i could eliminate the necklace and the whole bluetooth device.i have since purchased the v-moda vibe duo.the sound quality is amazing and i have learned to live with the wire. and as far as the wire goes it is cloth coated and very nice.

well i can only assume that for the movie, they were just fake .. if its out there, i can usually find it and while i totally dig the concept ones catside, those aren't the ones he used in the movie. in fact, the ones he used in the movie could have been mistaken for hearing aides, they were so small. im going ot have to watch it again to see if i can find some hint, it will drive me crazy until then.

serviiciio ... i have the H9, is that the same thing? while it is small, the ones he wears are half the size of the H9!

excellent quality. this is my first IN ear BT so its taking some getting used to as i hate when i can hear myself (no other way to explain it)

i have lost it twice already, so definately hard to keep up with bc of its size

ONLY con i have found is that it charges by a docking station, so you MUST have that with you all the time if you want to charge...

Point well taken but she did say she saw it in a "movie".. just because she saw it in a movie and is asking about BT technology who's to say the movie she watched didn't ACTUALLY USE the new hearing aids I made mention of? It's also entirely possible there are some BT stereo wireless headsets as miniature earbud size as one can mention too. If somebody could come up with the exact set she saw and they are BT I'd like to know where they are too. I'd buy a set in an instant!

Looks like Sony-Ericsson is coming out with something...

Can't post a link yet, but they are the HBH-IS800 - google that and you'll see.

From what I've read tonight on them, is that they are supposed to be released sometime in Dec. Kinda pricey and only 4 hrs of talk time though, but I love the design.
