    HELP!!! Has anyone here.......

ever tried to pair a blackberry pearl 8100 with a 2008 Ford Edge sync system. I am trying like hell and am very discouraged that it won't pair. I keep getting a passkey to enter but all that happens when I enter the passkey onto the 8100 it reads "unable to pair"

    Any suggestions???

Have you looked in your vehicles user manual to see if there is a default passkey that is not the usual of 0000?

i have tried 0000 but nothing. i have looked at the vehicle manual and there is nothing about a default passkey. thanks for trying guys but i guess i need someone who also bought a Ford Edge.

what bothers is me is that i checked to see if the blackbery pearl was compatable before i bought the car and it is. the damm sync option was 2 grand extra. very disapointed!

I don't know if you tried posting or researching your issue @ the Ford Edge Forum http://www.fordedgeforum.com/ but it may be worth a shot.
