    Handsfree or Headset?

What's the difference between these profiles? I have a Curve and the Aliph Jawbone, and the Jawbone always detects with the Hands-free profile, not the Headset profile (the Curve supports both). The Jawbone does not play my ringtone, it has its own little alert tone it plays, and it does not carry any other sounds from my device. Any way to get the Jawbone to use the Headset profile instead? Should I bother?

    Re: Handsfree or Headset?

No. The sounds you hear when the phone rings will be proprietary to the headset which means you won't hear your ringtone. Unless your headset specifially supports it you won't be able to hear MP3s either. My current headset, supposedly, does support it but I still can't hear anything.lol
