Blackberry's do not have OBEX enabled.
OBEX (Object Exchange) is required to send data via Bluetooth.

    Re: Bluetooth questions

i have sent mp3's to my husbands Cingular 8125 via BT. I have him set up (paired) automatically with my Pearl. He has to "accept" a connection every single time I try to send though.

would need to know the exact error your friend is getting first...before trouble shooting.

Dont fret. I cant figure out how to get desktop connection working via BT. My nokia connects and transfers info automatically when in range. Even see my BB in the "paired connections" in my computer BT folder, just no love.

    Re: Bluetooth questions

I can send music and whatever from my Pearl to my laptop, let's say, but I'm not able to send from my laptop to my phone or from my Pearl to my friends... It's a little frustrating. Do both phones need to have the microsd card for this function to work?

Most bluetooth passcodes are set at 0000 by default.
