I alternate between a Plantronics 510 and a Sony Ericsson 835 daily in the office. My car has a bluetooth system in it that my 8703e switches to automatically.

I don't really use voice that much... that's why I don't have a bluetooth.. Thanks wirelessbuy.com, my 8700g was suppose to come with one but I never got it.

I try not to engage in really long phone conversations, so the only time I really need my headset is when I'm driving. However, if I'm up to my elbows in computer guts, I'll use the headset simply because I need both hands free

I'm pretty happy with my Motorolla H500. The battery life and sound quality are good, although it does start to degrade well before the fifty food "limit" (I would estimate that degredation begins around thirty-five feet out).

I use my H700 mainly in the car (NY law). At home I use a old fashioned wired headet for long conversations.

    Re: Bluetooth Headset Users

I use my Moto H500 while at school in case I have to call for a ride. It makes it much easier for me to use my phone while moving around on campus since I have either one or no hands free (kinda hard to push a wheelchair and hold a phone at the same time unless I'm in my power chair).

One question though. While it's connected to my phone, is it supposed to stop blinking or continue blinking? This is a huge confusion for me and my mom. We both use them.

I'm using a Plantronics Explorer 320 BT headset on a daily basis and it's doing a great job considering the money I paid for it.

    Re: Bluetooth Headset Users

I have a few - HS850, H700, H500, and an old Nokia. I use the H500 exclusively (HS850 works beautiful with my BB but battery life is almost shot on it now due to age) and use it all day long. X2 is real nice and comfortable (probably switching to it or a Bluesonic when I change headsets). I found the H700 doesn't like most of the PDA's I have used it with (notwithstanding it's own issues we have seen). As far as the light staying on or off on the H500- the light blinks for about 2 minutes or so after a button is pushed or after it is turned on or after a call is terminated/intiated (blinks always while in a call) and then the light shuts off to conserve battery. I get over 3 days use out of my BT and 2 days from my BB because of it (provided I don't surf the web all day long) before needing to recharge.

Thanks for the explanation. I could not find that anywhere in the manuals that come with the H500's that my mom and I have. It was driving us insane LOL
