Bluetooth headphones???

hello, i am a first time poster and the pearl is the first berry for me. i am wondering if there are any bluetooth headphones (primarily listening to music) compatible with the pearl? eg. does headphones saying "A2DP supported" compatible with the pearl

Since you are looking for headphones, I did run across these that specifically listed the 8100 as a "compatible product"...

They are from BlueAnt...

As far as I know, the Pearl does not support A2DP at this time.

I"ve read that the Pearl does support audio through bluetooth headset and I was lucky enough to get it to work one time. I have not had such luck since. Occassionally when I end a call I'll get a snippet of sound from the song that was playing then it jumps right back to playing through the phone speaker.

Anyone else know how to get this to play properly or did I just get lucky one time.

When I typed in "Blackberry Pearl bluethooth headphones" in google, there are a number of vendors out there saying that their headphones work with the Pearl. is this true?? has anybody gotten them to work yet?? if so which ones are the best ones too get??

It appears if this was at one time posted as being compatible with the Blackberry Pearl 8100, it no longer is. I don't see anywhere that it mentions RIM or Blackberry products

if I overlooked something please let me know.

I just bought a pair of stereo headphones by motorola and it was a waste of money. I didn't read b4 i bought and now i know they don't work. Definitely a something RIM needs to work on

BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES OR HEADSETS DO NOT WORK WITH PEARL YET!!!

However this aint no hardware issue so in the future when they make another upgrade, there's a chance it will start working.

You mean for music, right? I have no difficulty with my BT headset (Plantronics) for calling.

You can listen to music with the normal bluetooth headsets.
