BlueTooth Earpiece Won't Hold A Charge

    I have a Jabra BT-250 bluetooth earpiece.

When I first bought it, I could go almost 2 weeks with it before it needed to be recharged.

Nowadays, I literally have to charge the thing every other day, and it doesn't get used nearly as hard as it used to get used.

Is this something I could fix myself by simply replacing the battery in it?

    Thanks in advance.

How long have you had the headset? You'll eventually need to replace it. Could just be time to do so.

I may have to, but I don't want to.

I know that in the past, when I had this same problem with cordless phones, replacing the battery made it as good as new.

I'm suspecting that the battery in this earpiece can be replaced. I just have to see if we have any precision screwdrivers at work tomorrow.

I've already contacted Jabra about acquiring a replacement battery.

Well, if that's cost-effective, then by all means, go for it!

Just a question, but with all the newer BT out there what's the reason you don't want to get rid of it?

And any luck in replacing the battery?
