    Bluetooth & Desktop Manager

I am sure this may be addressed indirectly somewhere else but i would like a direct answer to my specific issue.

    i have a curve 8300:
    Software: v4.5.0.52(platform 2.7.0.66)

Using RIM's latest released desktop software. 4.6.0.12

    I use BIS.

I would like to connect to my pc via bluetooth and synchronise thereafter.

    How do I do this?

I am using a DELL Latitude D630 with on board bluetooth connectivity.

    Awaitng an answer.

    Thanks

    Hey Vaughn,

Open the DM and click on Options in the upper right hand corner. Choose Connection Options from the dropdown menu. Check the box for Turn on Bluetooth Support and click on Configure Bluetooth. Make sure your 8300 is close by and the device is discoverable. Click on Add and the DM should then find your 8300. Click OK and off you go!

    Hope this helps!

    Roger

done... thanks for the help, i realised that the problem was the "toshiba stack" bluetooth software affiliated with my on board device.

I just went and got a usb blutooth 'dongle'. works perfectly.

Now i have almost completely eliminated the use of my mini usb port on my phone.
