Anyone using their 8100 with BMW bluetooth?

Any trouble pairing or pulling up address book? My wife is getting a 2007 X3 here in a few weeks once it comes in, and we now both have 8100s, so I sure hope there are no problems! Anyone using them together?

I'm having problems with my 2006 Land Rover LR3 and my Pearl. It paired fine, but when I initiate a call from the car it doesn't transfer the audio over to the car's system! Anyone else seen this problem?

    Doesn't work with my BMW Z4 2005 :@(

For this reason, not all available Bluetooth phones are compatible with the BMW hands-free system:

I used to have the Motorola RAZR V3 Works Great !!!

Funny to see this thread up top when I haven't even posted in weeks Well, 8100 works like a champ on a 2007 X3, loads address book properly and incoming and outgoing calls work well.

Re: Anyone using their 8100 with BMW bluetooth?

I'm seeing a bit of inconsistent success with a few different bluetooth devices, (headsets and car systems). In all cases, the phone and device sync, but the audio does not "switch over" to the bluetooth device.

I think this may be more specific to compability with the bluetooth device as the Pearl works with some devices, but not others.

fyi. Mine works with my Jabra JX10 headset, Motorola Headsets, and my 300c in-car system too.

Sorry i guess i was not trying hard i figure it out !!! It does work for the 2005 Z4, this is what i did:
    *Turn Bluetooth on Perl 8100
*Turn the Key in position where you can hear the stereo, don't start the car
*Press once the SPEAK button on stearing wheel
*Then have The Perl 8100 ready to Add device
*Found: AUDIO DEVICE select it then enter the passkey, look in ur manual
*Then it will take some time 5-10 min to load all your phone book entries.

I used to have the Motorola V3 Razor in noticed a better sound quality with the Perl 8100,reception is great...

Anyways i hope this will help, i'm Happy with it !!!
