Vendor Theme's For Pear !

Hey there people ,
Right i don’t want to sound like a newb here but i need some answers , well even though you guys in the usa are having fun and being able to install software updates and new theme's us in the u.k don’t think are having the same joy !

i have kind of got used to the idea that i cant have the same themes as you as i am in the u.k and on t.mobile , and even though i work for them the support i am getting from them is a little to be desired.
now what i want to know and i have read the notes in the theme forums is that you can unlock themes from other vendors ( specifically the vodaphone one i am after) , i was wondering if somebody could please take the time out to help me through the process and get the voda theme sorted for my pearl.
Please help a friend in needy time's

honestly i have read the thread several times ! , now what i dont get is when is says best way to get to vendor files = c / program files e.t.c , when i did that on my pc i had no joy nothing was there !
any ideas
maybe i am a idiot lol.

Do you have the device handheld software loaded on your pc or just the dm?

jusg search you computer for vendor.xml then delete it

You need to download and execute the OS for your carrier and BB to install it on your PC. You can find a link to the download site in this thread. Blackberry OS Software links (by carrier)

Once installed you will be able to find the file to be edited as stated in the instruction thread.

can't we get themes elsewhere? i don't have the data plan with my bb pearl.

RIMed, These themes are locked into the OS. You have to manipulate the OS Blackberry.alx and reload the OS. They are not available OTA. See this Thread for instructions, How to Unlock all Hidden and vendor themes.
