    Ok I"m so new tothis blackberry world and have recently downloaded the Plazmic CDK 4.5 for Blackberries. I went through & made a custom theme (for myself) but can't figure out how to get it over the air to my pearl device.

    I've got the Pearl 8100 v4.2 if that makes any difference.

    Thanks!

    In order to host themes over the air they need to be in JAD format and your website needs to be configured to host files for OTA..

    it's much easier for you to load them using the Desktop manager with the ALX/COD files

    but if you have a website and want to host then here is a link that will show you how

    ok first are you making custom themes?
    if so you won't be able to load them to your bb with out either upgrading you OS or modifying theme builder to export to lower OS's.

    if you want you can modify theme builder to export to lower OS's

    if you go to:
    "C:\Program Files\Plazmic CDK 4.5\resources\theme\dimension240x260"
    you will see a file called, "8100custom.properties"
    open that file in notepad and edit these lines so you can export to other OS's

    theme.supportedHandheldOs = 4.2,4.3,4.5
    theme.preferredHandheldOs = 4.5
    theme.importOs = 4.2.2,4.3.1

    just remember you can't have the builder open when you do this.

    and you can add in any OS you want should still work.

    then I'd say just make your .alx and .cod files (export as .alx) and run it through desktop manager.
    works great for me
