    I've never heard of not having to pull the battery to see the new theme. What OS are you running? And after loading the theme, does your Pearl rest on it's own?

    What happens after the new theme is put in, is the phone blanks out, then I see the cingular screen, the hourglass spins for about 30 seconds, then the phone is back to normal. No battery has to be pulled.

    I dl geekandproud's soft reset and auto lock apps. They're both great!

    I dont have to pull mine either. Maybe its a newer version OS since mine is brand new.

    The OS build I have is 4.2.0.69. This is the OS that allows no battery pull.

    damn..the thing that I have noticed about this site is when you stop visiting it for about a week, when you come back to it, you find a bunch of good new programs to download..I love this site! though this site wouldn't be anything without its members, so thank everyone.

    It says 5700 so maybe 5700kb? Its not that large at all and well worth it!

    hey, I am glad you posted this. i found the soft reset program a couple of weeks ago too and thought it was a good program. it's much easier than the battery pull!

    Mine is .71 and I dont have to do the pull. It resets itself.
