If you mean on your BB, Desktop Manager will install it in the right place - you should not need to select any folder.

    Jennif4855,

Jeff is correct, you need to use APP loader in desktop manager, not Media Manager. After you DL and INSTALL (unzip) the OS on your desktop, you use the ADD button in App Loader.

    Hope this helps!

    Patience my fellow stacker
Jenn you have to start DM and App Loader, then Add, browse for the .cod file for the theme you downloaded and then click next and let it run. Theme should be loaded and you should be good to go. Do not disconnect BB until this process completes.

Re: Adding a theme from the desktop manager???

OK Just close the manager out completely and start it up again! Now the manger should try to sync and such, then go to app loader, then click next, it will laod up real quick then in the folder where you saved your theme find the ALX file and click ok. then contiune through and its located under options themes on your bb

Re: Adding a theme from the desktop manager???

    Ok Jenn....

You will actually select the .alx file in desktop manager. As LGirl said make sure you dont unplug before the process is complete. You will then find the new themes in OPTIONS.THEME
