Yes, I have submitted my error log, thanks.
I still get the 'connection was broken' and 'playback' errors.
Data connection type - Direct TCP (tried BIS transport, no connection)
Buffer size - 50 (tried all settings, none connected)
I have a 8310,the feed gets cut off every 5 seconds, not working very well for me.
I see that you can change the volume when playing an mp3 by using alt and the scroll wheel (8703e BB). But this doesnt work when using internet radio. Anybody found a way to change volume on internet radio?
I think it's our issue, we'll fix it to release

Please keep this project going, thanks guys
also, if i have my headphones plugged in before I connect, I have to unplug them and then re plug them in for it to go through the headphones, instead of the speaker
Hey could you add options for a 2mb buffer or bigger? I got a few low bandwith stations to work, but when I hit dead spots for service on the road they cut out. If there was a large buffer, I think this would keep the stations playing until I got back into service. maybe have the streaming audio start at 200k and then continue to build up to like 2mb or higher? what do you guys think?
Thanks a lot
digitally imported works great for me, with only a few cutouts
downloading as we speak....
First of all. Great improvements over the original version!!
So far I have been testing only the Internet radio portion of the media player, and thus far has mediocre playing compared to other methods (Moodio.FM).
I changed the default settings of the Radio to: Direct TCP and Buffers: 500.
I would like more control over the Radio Station List, such as Editing an existing station or genre. The Collapsing Lists are great, but when I click on the list header I think it should auto collapse/expand rather than having to Left click then select Collapse or Expand from the menu, that is getting a little annoying.
There is no way to edit the Collapsible list entries, unless you completely clear the list and start from scratch. Perhaps an option to rename or edit these Collapsing Lists and Menus.
I prefer to sort Stations by my own designations or by Location such as City, ST.
The playback has been steady thus far (25 min and counting) but the quality is well, not too good. The audio doesn't cut out, or stop, but the quality is low, slight chop distortions, and reverberations in the stream. This effect seems to come and go.
Unlimited Data plan, with phone stationary on desk, so signal is consistent. Signal strength is -77dBm currently. Which is neither high or low on an Edge Network (T-Mo)
Accesssing a web page through the browser while Internet Radio is playing in the background causes distortion and slight reverb, but audio continued to play, probably due more to 500 buffer than to anything else, so the download bandwidth doesn't seem to be an issue or be maxed out. Perhaps a quality setting for Internet Radio would allow users with different networks or data plan types to customize the quality of the stream. I know the stream itself has a quality level that can't be overcome, but more flexibility would be nice.
Thank you for the improvements, more feedback to follow after I add back music to the media card this evening.
Pearl 8100 - T-Mobile (EDGE)
OS Ver: 18.104.22.168
Signal Strength: -77dBm.

what i said before about the buffer didnt make sense... oh man..
maybe a low buffer of 200k and hi or 2mb? the 500k isnt quite enough to cover the small dead spots for service when I drive (90% of xplayer use)
and does anyone know if we could stream moodio stations directly from moodio? That way we could set a high bandwidth station to 36kps or so to keep it going? I tried adding a URL but it didnt work
also, I cant get theq.fm to stream.
Here's the direct link to the stream:
any help please? i dont get why it wont work, xplayer supports OGG right?

I installed the new xplayer and it drained my battery in 2 hours. This occured even when the app wasn't even running. I've tried numerous battery pulls. I removed the app and the battery drain issue was gone.

Due to my using UMA and had issues with 4.5 I downgraded to 4.2. Using this app on my 8320 using WIFI xplayer works great. Stereo sounds great! LOVE it.

my battery is dead in like half a day, these phone batteries just suck in general I think. xplayer drains the batter about as much as moodio, so far for me.
