| Word Document Viewer not for e-mail attachments
Does anybody know of a BB program (or .jar) i can download (free) where i can view microsoft word documents or excel documents on my pearl? I know there are a lot of programs that allow you to view the word doc attachments in e-mails, but i'm looking for something where i can load a doc onto my MicroSD card and then open it on my BB. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you |

| Re: Word Document Viewer not for e-mail attachments yeah I tried beamberry. I cant exactly open up the program though. Does it actually open up? When i click on the icon in the menu, i doesnt do anything. But then when i open "alt-back", i can see the beamberry running in the background. I still cant open my docs. Anything else? Thanks though |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Not sure about DOC files, but you can at least look at XLS files attachments using BB's email client. |

I think we are just out of luck for now. I've been wanting to do the same thing (actually, I would like to edit the documents in addition to reading them) since I switched from an MDA but have been unable to find anything other than eOffice which is just a little too pricey for me. I've seen a number of people that are waiting for the Blackberry version of Documents to Go and I did sign up for notification when it is developed, but not really much of anything else. Someone suggested using Mobipocket which I downloaded but have not tried yet. I guess we just keep searching. Good luck!
