Not working for me. 8130. I had one of my users try it, 8130 as well, and it wont work for them. Had another user, 8830 try it, and it works fine. Another app that 4.3 does not work well with. ugg.

I'm not too sure I'm loving this, I'll give the app a few days and see how it does.

Has anyone else noticed a severe battery hit from this application?

I am setting my alerts and forcast to 0 to see if that helps because I am more concerned with the temp icon.

After a few days of use, I as well have noticed the battery drain a bit faster. This application is a great concept, I only wish it was more of a steady product. My guess is that since this is located in their "Labs" section, this product is not quite the final version.

    Found another bug!

When I rebooted my blackberry, I received the following error:
    "Uncaught exception: java.lang.ArithmeticException"

Now when I click on the WeatherBug icon, it does nothing.

    Re: WeatherBug Direct

I couldn't get it to change to my zip code. I deleted and reinstalled it
and still couldn't get my area, so I deleted it. And when it was on my
BB it seemed to be running alot (blue arrows in upper right hand coner)
    plus the icon kept disappearing.
Needed to get a replacement 8330 Curve again, so I got a New pin and it's in my profile... Got 8330m now!

I contacted the developer and he stated that this a known issue that will be fixed in the next release.

    It gets better...

I got the dreaded JVM error when I tried to uninstall the program. Luckily, after pulling the battery, the OS loaded again. Done with this program for awhile until the bugs can be fixed.

Removed application, my BB could not be happier. It seems the application was making my BB so slow, it feels much faster now.

Glad you heard back from them. I wrote them about this and never
heard back from them. Maybe I'll give it another try after it's been fixed.
    Thanks for the info.

    Re: WeatherBug Direct

I'm waiting myself, the idea of this app is awesome but I also got the JVM Error and I had to do a complete install of the OS, I was so pist, it rendered my 8800 useless till I got home but whatever I like the idea of this app so I'm willing to revisit it once all these bugs get resolved.
    Best regards
