I think you have to make sure to set your profiles first before doing anything with the program on a fresh install. If you don't you get stuck in that loop. I think I remember that from my first install.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I use PocketDay Professional from Cross River Systems. It has a fantastic weather function.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~DCooksta, when I launch the program that's when the error occurs. No way around it. Just stinks cause it used to work on my 7100i

Yeah I had the app freezing on me too. I just took it off. Guess I will have to get my weather from the browser or something. Or maybe set up some alerts for it thru T-mobile or yahoo.

Wunderground works great! Gives a quick and detailed forecast even in a remote Maine location. Thanks!

    Re: Weather Software

Found out the FIX for 8100 users (and maybe more) for using BBWeather, worked fine for me, quoted from this link: http://blackberryforums.com/general-...100-users.html

"Load BBWeather. if you get any errors click OK on them. Now, DO NOT HIT the menu key as this will error everything and lock up the phone. Instead, push your trackball... and goto Options. weird huh? This was causing me all kinds of problems before. Now, go to options, disable mds, and enter in a profile and there ya go."

    Re: Weather Software

I tried to load bbweather on my 8703e. Got same problem, however when I tried to load location ID (zip, or ID or place name/state - it didnt matter which) and I go to click OK but button - it wont click. I can change color of temps ok, I can disable mds no probs. but when I try to add location - the ok button will not click. The cancel button clicks ok and goes back to profiles section Current Profiles still *empty*.
I deleted program and reloaded it and still got same problem

Can anyone help?? tks in advance

Yeah for me, I finally decided to stick to this one and now with the automation of saved bookmarks, it does the job, although I would prefer to click on an Icon and booms it pops up
    Best regards
