don't care if it's got tons of fancy info or not, just a simple option to view current radar image.

I know it's not a app, but it has radar and lots of info for you.

    Best that I have found.

You could download a shortcut icon for the Weather Channel, set a city and when you click on maps there is a radar image. just go to weather.com on your BB and look for the "Set a shortcut" option, click that and it will let you download the icon.

Good catch. Tried it out, and there's two things about it.

First, it doesn't make a shortcut for the page you're on, rather a shortcut for the city you've chosen.

Second, it uses the WAP Browser rather than your default browser.

Neither are show stoppers, but good to know.

Quick question, how can I tell which browser is being used? How do I know if it's the WAP or my default internet browser?

    Really good find.

I wish there was a better weather app for the BB than the few that are currently available. Sure dancing icons are neat and all, as well as push weather is ok, but really nice animated maps optimized for BlackBerry is what I really want.
